This center aligns with the Kindergarten Common Core Standards:
Counting & Cardinality
Know number names and count sequence
K.CC.1 Count to 100 by ones and tens.
K.CC2. Count forward beginning from a given number
within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
This center concept is tested with Aimsweb Early Numeracy testing.
Cards are from 0 to 30.
Students attach the middle missing number on each of the cards.
It is helpful to attach velcro on the cards so that they will stay in place.
